About H.A.E.R.T.

Alembic has developed H.A.E.R.T. program to educate patients about the risks associated with Acitretin capsules and its appropriate use. This program is targeted to educate females who can get pregnant and their healthcare providers about the teratogenic risks associated with acitretin. Acitretin capsules can cause severe birth defects during treatment and for up to 3 years after a patient stops acitretin capsules. The H.A.E.R.T. program is intended to help you avoid getting pregnant during this time. It provides important information through H.A.E.R.T. Program Booklet and other program materials
